Program Planning Guidelines

Resources:
Past Program Plan Updates are on BoardDocs, scroll down to Astronomy. You also have them as .doc files in ProPlan but you do NOT have the attached SLO updates, which you need! The BoardDocs PDF do have your attached SLO department updates for each year, so you should open these in PDF and then save as DOCX and strip off all but the SLO Dept updates.

PP-2016w/deptSLO's as pdf
PP-2017w/deptSLO's as pdf
PP-2018w/deptSLO's
as pdf

Your PP updates without the attached SLO updates are on your computer, here...

Other Program Plans from Other Departments

Here's Your Process... Your PP will be in Word. You need the proper Template...

In the Guidelines, on p.5 you'll see Go to the PRO site here. and under 7. Program Planning Support and there are two templates. They look identical to me, except the fonts. I chose template #2, in Roman font I think. I've saved it as AstroProgramPlan2022Draft1 That's the document you'll start writing into.

You need Dept SLO .doc file for each year 2015-2021 to link as 'attachments' to your PP. If you can only find them as attachments to the PDF's on BoardDocs, you can download and save those PDF's and then use Adobe Acrobat DC to open those PDF's, save them by 'export' to Word, save the .doc file then re-open it and strip off just the attachment of the Dept SLO and save it separately. I've done that for some below...

2021 SLO Dept Assessment
2020 SLO Dept Assessment
2019 SLO Dept Assessment

2018 SLO Dept Assessment
2017 SLO Dept Assessment
2016 SLO Dept Assessment
2015 SLO Dept Assessment

You'll need things from the eLumen site. Login here and it'll take you to Astro Program Planning where you can see all your course SLO's listed.
