Telescope: 10" Meade LX200 f/10+f6.3 telecompressor, AltAz, PC164c videocamera recorded on Canon ZR45 miniDV camcorder.
Location: Kramer Hills, longitude 117deg 28.34' latitude 34deg 55.19'. Elev 3050 ft.
Method: PC 164c digitial videorecording including audio WWV at 5Mhz
Sky: Clear, a bit hazy, some cirrus but not near star. Poor seeing, strong breeze.

Comments: The 11.9 star is barely visible above the noise on the playback. Absolute limiting magnitude was perhaps 12.1. The star was actually invisible at the time of the recording. I blind positioned using the LX200 go-to feature after testing gave good confidence that the star was in fact on the frame. I shielded the telescope from the strong 20mph wind using the backdoor of my Toyota RAV4 SUV, and this did a pretty good job. Still, some small jitter and wandering did occur, but was not a major problem. The event lasted only about a second, and timings will await a light curve courtesy of Frank Anet.
