* First, go to the OH calculator page and calculate how many OH's you need this semester. As a full time faculty, you need your OH's spread over 4 days.
-- Astro 25 and 27 have 1.38 TU's and meet for 3 weeks
-- Astr 8A is 2.4 TU's
-- so Spr 26 is 3 + 3 + 2.4 +1.38 = 9.78 TU's of teaching, and DC and PP units are not counted for OH calculation
* Go to Cabrillo Self Service and Log In.
* On left side of page, click on "Daily Work"
* In OH screen, note the dates. Fall '25 begins 8/25, ands 12/13. OH's must be between these
* Under "building" you also have options for Online and "Off Campus"
* Frequency should always be weekly
* You can create multiple sets of days/hours. Enter your first set of days and hours, then SAVE. For the second set of days/hrs, fill out form again and SAVE. Each will record as a new line.

Check the public eLumen site to verify you have the current Student Learning Outcomes (SLO’s), on your syllabi. (The public site does not require a login or password). Your syllabi should match them word for word. (Check them each semester as they are periodically updated and this is a requirement of our accreditation).
o Once you choose your course and number in eLumen, click on the underlined Course Outline Report on the top, right.
o The Student Learning Outcomes are labeled CSLO’s and are usually closer to the bottom.
o Please label your SLO's only as Student Learning Outcomes on your syllabi.
o You are welcome to post the Course Objectives on your syllabi, but it’s not required. If you do, be sure to clearly distinguish them from the SLO’s.
o When naming your syllabi, label them in the following format:
-- Course (-Sect#)_First-initial.Lastname_Fa25
-- Example: Math 5A(-01)_D.Reynolds_Fa25
Upload your syllabi to the appropriate Dept folder in the NAS shared Google Syllabi folder by Friday, September 5th. If you've already sent it to me, there is no need to resend it again.
If you’re having trouble posting to this shared site, send your syllabi to Kaylee Ortiz, our student assistant, as an attachment to this email at kaortiz@cabrillo.edu.
