I attempted to coordinate observations from two sites. I brought a telescope and binoculars to Dave Schwartz's Geology 10 class at Toulemne Meadows in Yosemite National Park anchored by my lab assistant Dave McKulle. This site was east of the nominal path, so I drove back to the western entrance station area to set up the 8" Meade and pc164c video camera. Clouds ruined the event at Toulemne Meadows. Clouds and equipment problems also ruined my own efforts. The event was successful at many stations in California's central valley and it's marginal that there would have been an occultation from my site even had things worked out.
