Alas, no crepes breakfast fixed for you by Chez Nolthenius! I wish I could... alas it was not to be. However, we do have excellent pictures of what this course would have been like outdoors, from the Spring '19 class. I want you to review these images and we can talk about what you saw in terms of planetary processes when I meet you online later today. There's well over 100 images here. Take your time!

Normally we are hiking the 6 mile round trip from camp to Laguna Falls during the day, after our French Crepes breakfast. Along the way, we do micro-lectures completing the evolution of stars, of the collapsed objects at the end of stellar evolution, and point out the connection between the chemical elements beneath our feet, and their generation in the cores of medium and high mass stars. I will be reviewing those thoughts in our Canvas Conference during today.
To supplement: your assignment is to listen to these very good video talks on fascinating aspects of the large scale universe
The Life and Death of Stars (Professor Dave) (16:35)
Lawrence Krauss - "A Universe from Nothing" (1:04:51)
World Science Festival - "The Multiverse: One among many?" (1:22:34) (Panel )
Briane Green - "Why is Our Universe Fine-Tuned for Life?" (21:47 - TED talk)
