This is a relatively low rank event, but Santa Cruz is inside the shadow and worth a try from home. The odds of a hit in downtown Santa Cruz are 28%. The star is bright, at 10.9, and the drop is 2 magnitudes, for 2.3 seconds. The only minus is the altitude which is only 20 degrees. Might require careful site selection. And, it's 4am, so that cuts into sleep.
The target is just a couple of degrees below Antares, in Scorpio. Risinig in the SE at azimuth 145 degrees by 3:22am when we should be acquiring the target.
