This event crosses north-south, includes Karl and Santa Cruz is just west of the limit. Ted Swift is nominally put on the centerline. The occultation is "bright" at 12.7, 38 degrees up at due west 273=Azimuth, in Gemini just up-leg from Mu Geminorum (Castor's feet, where M35 is).

A storm front came through Saturday, clearing began around midnight, but it didn't last. Ted Swift at home, Kirk and I from home, Karl from home - all set up or almost set up, and got clouded out. Kirk came closest to a good outcome, getting on-target with the scope, but a last minute cloud ruined. I got partially set up at the foot of the driveway, but it did not clear enough to even find two alignment stars.
