This is a high rank event, good altitude =52, Az=89 in the East, bright-ish star in Taurus, with a long duration of 8.6s. It should provide good data. It's a bit of a drive from Scotts Valley, but if the mood fits, maybe worth a go. The drop is 1.0 magnitudes for several seconds, most likely for us near Pulgas.
Kirk and I both got good data on positives from Crystal Springs Reservoir. Looks like a south shift beyond the 1-sigma, as we both had 7+ second occultations out of a predicted 8.6 second max positive predicted.
I had clear skies, some dampness, sky brightness due to SF/Bay lights as the target was in the East. Humidity interfered with transparency, but stars looked steady. No visible cirrus. I set it at 8x, almost did 4x but it looked more noisy and I didn't think that would improve timing accuracy so left it at 8x. Very solid FP test. It was cold and damp, but no trouble with recording.

Kirk Bender was set up at Edgewood/Canada Rd intersection, at the start of the bike path. Got a 7s positive.
