The Occultation of a 10.4 Star by 1998 FZ82

This is a bright event, and long enough to get good data at a good cadence. Keep it on 2x setting. Clouds may interfere, but if thin, the star may shine through them. No moon. Decent altitude of 57 degrees in Az=63, in Perseus. 1s duration, full drop.

Richard Nolthenius

I had trouble with telescope drift and despite getting on-target in the eyepiece right away, I spent 15 minutes then failing to get the field in the Watec view. Strong temporary drift, is what looks like happened repeatedly. I did not find the target until too late. No data from me, under clear skies.

Kirk Bender

Got a miss successfully, from home

Karl von Ahnen

Got a taping, tentatively looks like a miss. If Karl and Kirk both got misses, then I'd have had a miss as well, and the shadow must have south shifted.
