This event path northern limit is across my place, and centerline at Natural Bridges. Mag 14.0 is very tough, and 0.6s is insanely short to try for an event pass the FP test. But, in the end, I decided to go for it since it didn't take much effort; just an hour and a half to make planning page, and then go down and set up and get the event recorded.

I got a recording at 16x from my carport. Clear, dry skies. Some local lighting pollution. Star was OK, barely, at 16x, but not enough at 8x so I did stick to 16x. That's only 2 integrations for a full occultation, so not likely to be able to get a FP-passed reportable occultation. We'll see... Neither Karl nor Kirk attempted it.

The PyOTE light curve shows no evidence of an event, the the 'no-star' light curve is not sufficiently different than the target light curve to make any conclusion. I think it can only get a "purple heart" - wounded in action, a valiant attempt that yielded no conclusion.
