I observed this event, at 2x, from behind the Arboretum at UCSC, on a spur in the pit of soil/refuse access (not on the paved path). The sky was quite bright, but the target star was visible. I used TME apertures on the stars in the reductions. I was almost on the centerline and the rank was good, with nominal odds of 100% that I would get an event. But, it's clearly a miss. These predictions are just not as accurate as advertised.

Observed from "the Berm" at 2x. Got a miss. Must have been a strong south shift, or even stronger north shift.
