This event is not high rank, but not obviously low rank either. Odds=30% from home, and a bit less from Cabrillo Observatory. Kirk over 40% at home. Karl near zero at home.
Alt=48, Az=220 in Aquila
The alt and "long"(?) event time of 0.6sec make this barely do-able if we get a clear patch of sky. Cirrus has moved in, but there's still plenty of blue sky.
Clouds looked to be a killer, and I was very tired at this time. I didn't try this one.
A miss for 1999 CR108 on Oct 20, 16x from home. I tried a 12-stack of static apertures, none showed an event. Graphs attached for a size 4 static mask. Max duration was 0.59 sec at 3.1m drop, and PyOTE detectability test said: "An event of duration 0.540 seconds with magDrop: 3.1 is likely detectable." I was between the blue northern path limit and the red 1 sigma line so a miss was not unlikely.
