This is a good event which should be fairly easy. Alt=46 Az=108 in East. The RUWE=1.85 which is a little high, so the path might vary from prediction. Kirk is on the southern limit, I'm closer to the centerline which goes roughly over Costco in an east-west direction. Does not pass near Karl.
Duration=1.1s
We had clear calm skies, but with a near full moon. Still, the star was easy at 4x and probably do-able at 2x.
I observed from home, at 4x. Visually, live, I saw a dip lasting about 1/3s but it did not completely disappear. Otherwise the seeing was steady and good, so the dip stood out at least in my mind.
Observed from home. For Floirac, Friday the 10th, I got a .5338 sec event from home, 4x.
Used a nest of static apertures, found size 2.4 gave best results. About 2 sec. later than predicted.
