This is a marginal event, but with luck and good seeing, could be detectable. The path goes through the SC Mtns, with Karl inside the northern limit. I put down a marker in northern Scotts Valley at a spot I know is a good one. But it's still a drive for a very tough event. If Karl tries it, I probably should try it too, to make it valuable

Only Karl tried this. Got a recording.

Here are the resultsĀ of 2001RK118. I used 8X and by the time I applied the "Auto block integration" there was only one data point showing a drop. It didn't seem to like that according to the histogram even though it was at the actual predicted time. I tried marking the D and R regions different ways, but it didn't seem to help. It looks OK in the D&R as seen below. Visually, I saw a very fast blink-out (less than 1/4 sec) at the predicted event time. There was some scintillation going on too, though.
