This is a bright, long duration, high rank event, suitable for good shape statistics on the asteroid, and for moonlet- hunting. It passes through Santa Cruz and the Santa Cruz Mtns. Duration = 2.1s

Alt=65, Az=100, in Gemini, 1/4 of the way from center of Gemini to higher Auriga

Karl's north of the shadow but not by much and even a miss would be valuable. If he chose to drive further down Highland to get into the path, that would be good. I'd suggest Kirk observe from the foot of Natural Bridges. I will not be mobile, and might not even be able to do it. I'll explain in an email. Sandy could try it from home in Aptos.
