The Occultation of a W=13.2 Star by Asteroid (5922) Shouichi

This is a long event, bright enough to get well at 4x or perhaps 8x, and lasts 4.7 seconds. Sandy, Kirk, and I are all well within the path. Karl would have to drive down to Castelegno's to be comfortably south of the northern limit.

Alt=59, Az=134 in Gemini, 1/3 of the way from Alhena (Gamma Gem) to Procyon
