This is a tough event, only 0.4s long, and requiring integration. The rank is poor. The target is very close to the bright spiral galaxy NGC 4580, which makes a good GoTo choice to avoid punching in wrong numbers.

I got a recording from my carport, at 4x, with monitor disconnected. Looks like a clear miss.

Got data from the Berm. A miss, I don't see an event for 1999 XD179 on May 4, at 4x. Not surprising, the rank was only 76. Predicted max duration was 0.38s, PyOTE detectability tool reported an event as short as 0.35s was likely detectable.
