This is a long event, at 1.4s, and at good altitude. The path cuts NW to SE, over UCSC and lower Empire Grade. The centerline goes over Natural Bridges before heading over Monterey Bay. It does not go near Karl.

alt=41, Az=139 in the SE in Virgo, about 15 degrees due left of Spica

The 85% gibbous moon is 25 degrees away, so the sky will be affected.

Got a positive for Dato last Thursday the 8th, 2x from the BD Eco Reserve. I was afraid I'd get a miss, being near the northern path limit, but I got a clear 1.4 sec event, near predicted time and mag drop.
