This event is shortly before the Euphrosyne event and so is worth putting into the mix for this night. It's not easy; happening 28 degrees from the 100% Full moon, in Libra. The sky will be bright and long integrations won't work as the duration is only 0.7s

Alt=30, Az=186, 10 degrees due right of the head of Scorpius

The RUWE is 3.95, quite high. The path is not as certain as it looks. I will prioritize getting above the fog and not driving too far. First choice is on the centerline at Canham Rd in Scotts Valley.

Results:

Karl got a recording of this from home, but then had the prime event: Euphrosyne 14 minutes later, end up behind a tree. I got a recording of this event from Sunlit Lane on the gravel at the NE end of the gravel access to the airfield.

Richard Nolthenius

At Sunlit lane. End of airfield. Disconnected the monitor. Just too faint to get a great level. PyOTE says the minimum detectable event would be 0.54s, which is very close to the 0.7s predicted max duration. There's a double zero integrations at the predicted time, but they don't stand out against many other ~0 points. Not a convincing miss, nor hit. Maybe try again with tighhgter mask? I might be able to claim a miss if I'm careful.
