This is a very bright and long event. But the rank isn't so great. I have to be at Cabrillo Observatory for Astro 9ABC Astrophotography, inside the 1-sigma zone. I will try it from there.

Alt=45, Az=147 in Aquarius, just a degree or two below the "tripod"

I left the 8SE to be set up by Sandy while I worked to get the 12" dome scope going. For unknown reasons, Sandy says when his back was turned the scope he'd set up toppled over and destroyed the computer hand controller, dented the tube OTA, and mount power was also lost. No data from me. But Bernard also recorded it from 20 feet away, also at Cabrillo Observatory.
