Kirk got a positive. I was teaching Astro 9, tried to get this set up and also get the 12" scope ready and the GTF81 on the Losmandy mount as students arrived just before event time. As it turned out, the mount which had hit the ground a week earlier, was pointing very poorly and I did not get on target. No data from me.
I got a 0.3176 event for Mastrodemos, Oct 29, 2x at home. Seeing was not good, the whole field shimmered and at one point the tracking and all stars dimmed sharply ( 30 sec. after predicted time), but not very noticeable on the target which was already dim at 2x. The target did dip to zero at the predicted time and the tracking stars did not. I found that a 4.3 size mask gave better results than smaller masks.
