This is a bright star, with a good long duration and should be easy at 1x. On-shore winds may be trouble, though. They were strong in the afternoon. The path just grazes along the north coast of SC County. Davenport is in the centerline.

Alt=39, Az=168 in the SSE, just 2 degrees below Spica.

I drove up to Rodini's Farm and set up 150 ft south of the point opposite the main building, and about 25 ft south of a power pole, on the coast side of Hwy 1. I got a ~1s occultation at 1x,
