This is a very red star, benefits our Watec cameras. The path essentially falls on top of Summit Rd, and Karl. The duration is only 0.2s, so it will require 2x setting to get enough points to be detectable. 0.2s = 10 fields for my PAL camera. So at 2x that would be 5 points inside the occultation, which should be detectable OK. The field is in Ophiuchus in the SE.

Alt=28, Az=154 in Ophiuchus, 12 degrees left of Antares

Kirk Bender's planned site: Glenwood Drive / Clark Drive just off Hwy 17. not far past the "Wedding Chapel" on Hwy 17.
My site: at the lot below the Red cafe at "Red Realty" site.

Results:

Richard Nolthenius

I got a recording at 2x from the old Red Cafe lot, in clear calm conditions. Visually it looked like a miss, but I've not reduced it yet
