This is a bright star suitable for 1x recording. The path is in the ocean, barely. But since the RUWE is 3.95 and the red 1-sigma line goes through Santa Cruz, I figure it's not that unlikely that we could get the event. I plan to try from home or nearby.
Alt=21, Az=237 in the SW in Libra. Western side, 4 degrees upper right of Zubenalgenubi, the famous double star. Use it for one of your two align stars.

I didn't hear from Jordan, and after I'd promoted it, noticed only then that the RUWE was pretty poor at "3.95", so I decided it was not worth the drive. Then looked at the path again and noticed with the wider uncertainty, there was a not unreasonable chance it could shift north by a path width and hit Santa Cruz and me, so I drove up a couple of blocks across from the high school to get to that low altitude in the SW, and recorded it. Looked like a miss.
