This event is faint, but it's 32 degrees up, easy to find because it's right next to the planet Uranus, and lasts 1.2s so 16x ought to get good data. The rank isn't great, but we can all try it from home. Kirk might have to set up on the sidewalk.

Alt=32, Az=87 in Taurus, just a half degree from Uranus. Just tell the 8SE to go to Uranus and it's a hop over from there.

I observed from a vacant lot behind the new O'Niell Surf monster store on West Cliff near the church. On Eucalyptus Rd. The target star was hard to see on the Lenovo screen, I worried at 16x the light curve would be so buried in the noise near 'sky' as to be useless. However, using a small 2.4px mask and good tracking stars and the target star light curve was good enough to be fairly confident of a "miss". Despite being deep inside the shadow. But the rank was not great and a shift is not unusual.
