Christmas day 2009 and weather was perfect - warm, sunny, calm. I'd always wondered how far up Waddell Creek one could paddle a kayak before running out of navagable water. It was a good day to explore and find out.

Last shot, back at the beach. Pelicans against a humongously overexposed sky, shooting straight into the sun. So I rendered it in bas relief and diddled it in Photoshop. Kind of interesting after all that. |
