The Santa Cruz Track Club puts on this race, with proceeds to benefit local athletes and charities. It's always a highlight of the schedule, everybody who's anybody in the Santa Cruz Running community will be there to schmooze with. Winners get an entire Turkey! Kids get pumpkins pies! What could possibly go wrong? This year 2018 I had a spotty year of trouble with my psoas and this race I was volunteer photographer only.
