Rick and I decided to do this one - probably our last Bass Lake Tri. I had a very good race here in 2014, when we had great weekend with Dave Slothower and Rick sharing a cabin just a few hundred yards from the finish line. Ferrell thought that for this year he'd gotten a cabin looking down onto the swim start.... till he found out The Forks Resort is not the same as The Pines Resort - and we were, in fact, half way around the lake. Oh well, not a disaster. The other problem is that the cabin purveyors here won't give reservations unless you commit to both nights of the weekend, which made it a rather expensive weekend. But, anyway, we both had good races...
