Oct 29, 2021 Friday 3pm-5pm - I was on a list of speakers at the Youth for Climate Justice rally and demonstration at the Famer's Market parking lot. Reprising the beginnings of Greta Thunberg, this group seeks to have regular student strikes at their high schools and middle schools and get pugnacious about climate action.

Nov 6, 2021 Saturday - Climate Coalition Organizing Meeting at UCSC. I was asked to speak and hand out information pamphlets, spreading the word about my Cabrillo College Astro 7 "Planetary Climate" course as well.

Jan 3, 2024 - Strategy meeting at Alexei L's with UCSC climate faculty on Cabrillo/UCSC joint educational efforts towards students and faculty.

Apr 8, 2024 - Solar Eclipse, I did a "Eclipse Palooza" event at the Amphitheater at Cabrillo College, announcing to the wider Cabrillo faculty and students and also to Santa Cruz organizations such as CCL, UCSC, and SCAC. We had a great turnout of at least 100 people who watched the eclipse with me as narrator, and with the GTF81 telescope, and eclipse glasses.
